Get Your Boots Dirty
Our natural and expansive Australian bushland doesn’t do itself justice from a caravan window. Here’s how to really experience it.
How to Spend Your Time Is Up to You
We don’t run guided tours or organised activities. This is your time to explore at your own pace, whether that means tackling every trail on the property, sketching or capturing the landscape or even just sitting under a shady gum with a good book. Here’s what’s waiting when you’re ready.
Self-GuidedBushwalking Trails
Genuine bush tracks... some well-worn, some barely there... that take you through eucalyptus forest, along ridgelines, and down to quiet seasonal creek beds. Multiple routes from easy strolls to proper hikes.
BYO BikeMountain Biking
Bring your mountain bike and explore firebreak trails, bush tracks, and property roads that weave through the landscape. Real bush riding with rocks, roots, and the occasional surprised wildlife.
Year-RoundBirdwatching & Wildlife
Dawn and dusk transform the property into a symphony. Kookaburras, rosellas, king parrots, fairy wrens, magpies and wedge-tailed eagles. Over 85 bird species and counting, plus wallabies, echidnas, kangaroos, wombats, goannas and other native wildlife throughout the property.
After DarkStargazing & Night Sky
No light pollution means night sky like you haven't seen for an age. The Milky Way stretches overhead in all of its incredible beauty as well as the neighboring constillations. Bring your telescope, camera and star guide.
BYO SuppliesArt & Painting
Pack your easel, watercolours, or sketchbook. The changing light on eucalyptus bark, the way shadows fall across ridge lines... this place may inspire more than a few creative breakthroughs.
UnplugJournaling & Reading
Finally finish that book you've been carrying around for months. Write without distractions. The lack of WiFi and patchy phone reception isn't a limitation... it's the whole point.
The Quiet Stuff That Matters
Not everything worth doing involves movement. Some of our guests come specifically to sit still—to listen to the wind in the trees, the very chatty birds, to watch light change on the ridgeline, to remember what nature truly sounds like.
Photography walks at golden hour. Reading a book under tree canopies. Journaling by the seasonal creeks. These aren’t “activities” in the traditional sense, and they’re often what people remember most.
There’s also something profound about a proper campfire after dark. Marshmallows optional. Deep conversations mandatory.

Important Safety Information
This is authentic Australian bushland, which means it’s beautiful and wild and deserves your respect. A few things to keep in mind:
Before You Head Out
- Tell someone your plans — Let other guests or us know where you're going and when you expect to be back.
- Limited phone reception — Don't rely on your phone for navigation or emergencies.
- Wear appropriate footwear — Hiking boots or sturdy closed-toe shoes.
- Bring water — More than you think you'll need, especially in summer.
- Sun protection — Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Australian sun doesn't mess around.
- Weather can change fast — Bring layers even on warm days.
- Unfenced dams and seasonal creeks — Watch children (and others) near water. Edges can be slippery and muddy.
- Fire danger — No campfires on total fire ban days. Use designated fire pits only.
- Safety around animals — Australian wildlife share this space. Keep your distance, don't feed wildlife, and stay alert on trails.
